Darcy Peacock is the coordinator for the Middle School at the Montessori School at Holy Rosary and serves as the math and science directress for the middle school. She holds a B.A. in Education, with a minor in Art from the University of Toledo, as well as masters coursework in the Middle School Science cohort at John Carroll University. She completed NAMTA’s Orientation to Adolescent Studies in 2008.

She has taught on Kelley’s Island and in the Cleveland Municipal School District, always integrating the arts and hands-on activities in her classroom. After investigating various methods of education for her own child, she discovered the Montessori School at Holy Rosary. It was then that she realized that she has always been a Montessori teacher at heart. What impresses her most about the Montessori program is the way that children learn to utilize “real life” experiences, their talents, and the environment and relate them to their own purposeful work.

Darcy enjoys working on ceramics, studying the history of the arts and gardening. What she loves most of all is spending time with her family. She has a son and daughter, along with a wonderful husband.

Jeanne’s education and training include a BA from Ursuline College, an MA from The University of Notre Dame and training at the International Montessori Training Center in Bergamo, Italy for elementary and at the Ohio Montessori Training Institute for Children’s House.

She lives in Cleveland Heights with her husband, Bob, also a Montessori teacher. Their three children, all Montessori graduates, live in New York, Chicago, and New Jersey. In her "spare" time, Jeanne enjoys gardening, reading, sewing, designing, and children of all ages.
